This recent addition to my range of chutneys has quickly become a winner with customers. It has an Indian style flavour base, with lots of garlic, cumin and turmeric complimenting the tomato and chilli. Lots of anti-inflammatory ingredients. Available in 3 heat levels, the MILD has no heat at all (uses Bullhorn chillies which taste similar to capsicum) so suitable for those who normally avoid chilli.
A most versatile product, this chutney holds its own on a cheeseboard or in a sandwich, wrap or toastie. Other uses include as: base sauce for an Indian style pizza; a marinade or accompaniment for BBQ seafood; a flavour base in chicken/lamb or vegetarian curries (especially with coconut milk!); a baste for roasting lamb or chicken
Ingredients: local tomatoes, local white wine vinegar, fresh chillies, sugar, local olive oil, local fresh garlic, cumin, mustard seeds, turmeric, fresh ginger, salt.
